1. Consultation
To help you get started we offer free no obligation consultations to help you choose the block of land and home that is perfect for you and your family.
Are you considering a block of land already? We can help with this decision. Before you go ahead and buy the land we can help ensure that the home design you like will fit onto the block, within your budget. If you have already purchased a block of land we can help you choose a home design that will best suit your family and the block of land you have chosen. We can assist with everything from where the home is positioned on the block to the size of each room. Alternatively, at Daniel Finn Builder we can source a home and land package in Bathurst that we may have available.
2. Design & Planning
Now that you have decided on your block of land the next step is to design the perfect home.
At Daniel Finn Homes we have a range of plans to help get you started. However, we can draft and design homes in Bathurst and the surround that will match your perfect family home. Don’t worry we are there with you through this important stage. Through this step you will also need to choose the level of inclusions that you would like in your home. This will allow an initial quote to be drawn up. Once you are happy with the details we will then issue you with the fixed price building contract.
3. Pre-Construction
Once you have worked with us and designed the perfect home and the contract has been signed, it is now time to choose your inclusions.
One of the most exciting things about building your own home is that you get to choose the colours, fittings and fixtures that reflect your families own style and budget. We know that choosing the finishes for your new home can be daunting. To help make this process enjoyable and as stress free as possible, we offer a standard range of high end inclusions and we will be there to help guide you through the process and provide expert advice on your selections.
4. Construction
The design and planning is now complete and construction of your new home will begin.
During this exciting phase you will see your block of land become your dream home. The site will progress from excavation and pouring of the slab, standing of the frame, installation of the roof, completion of internals such as the bathroom and kitchen right through to the laying of the driveway and landscaping. You will be involved in every step of the way through the construction phase. You will be invited to visit the site on a number of occasions and through this phase we will also be available at any time to answer your questions.
5. Handover!
Construction of your dream home is complete and there are only a couple of final things to do before we can hand you the keys to your new home.
When all construction is finished, we will invite you to do a final walkthrough inspection. Together, we will inspect your new home to make sure that you are happy with the finished product. Once your final installment has been paid we will then present you with the keys to your new home, and it is time to move in!
